Service Description
Come and learn how to make a book using the oldest form of binding. The Egyptians used it to bind papyrus together as did Medieval monks with their manuscripts. This format of binding is particularly useful for sketchbooks as it allows the book to lie completely flat when open. You will learn to make a pamphlet book in which to write your instructions followed by a Coptic stitched hardbound book which is stitched together using a chain stitch. All materials and tools are provided and all you need to bring is a packed lunch.
Cancellation Policy
The full balance is due on booking, however if you need to cancel you will receive a full refund up to 14 days before the workshop date. If cancellation is made within the 14 days before the workshop date no refund will be issued, if you contact us we can we will be happy to book you on to an alternative workshop.
